The story set at the backdrop of a coaching institute where our main lead Rajat and Ishita study. Rajat has a crush on Ishita, and with the help of his friends Gaurav and Anusha, he tries to woo her heart.

The web series has many cute romantic moments that fill your heart with joy. It is a light-hearted show that makes the perfect use of comedy and romance to create a beautiful story.

3. Broken But Beautiful

This soft romantic drama deals with the real-life problems a couple goes through. The leads possess amazing chemistry right from season one, it is difficult to accept they aren’t a couple offscreen.

8. Bang Baaja Baarat

It is a five-episode rom-com web series made under the banner of Yashraj Films. The production quality is no less than a featured film, and the show is filled with a talented star cast.

The story revolves around an urban couple Pawan and Shahana, who come from totally different backgrounds. Three days before the marriage, they introduce each other to their families, and the drama begins.

The web series highlights the urban-modern mindset of today’s youth and their ways of handling traditions. Overall it’s a fun show that’ll keep you entertained throughout.

9. Soulmates

11. Medically Yourrs

12. It Happened in Calcutta

  • Logline: A love story between two doctors as their love defies all rules amid the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

After producing a number of thrillers and adult web series Alt Balaji’s latest attempts reach out to romance genre lovers and provide an epic tale of love from the 1970s.

The story revolves around doctors  Ronobir Chatterjee and Kusum Ganguly who met each other during their medical training in 1962. Being exact opposites destiny once united them but soon they had to get apart. After 10 years, old feelings ignite again as both meet again during the 1971 Indo-Pak war as doctors.

Coming from Alt Balaji you can’t expect it to be the perfect romantic web series to watch but yet if you have been watching Indian soap dramas this web series will give you a better taste of love relations and love tales from the ’90s.

13. What The Folks

  • Logline: A life of a young man is forced to live with his in-laws for a few weeks.

‘What the folks’ is one of the most cherished web series in Hindi on YouTube. The show possesses a sweet and delightful vibe of a newly married couple Nikhil and Anita. Nikhil is forced to stay with his in-laws but his wife couldn’t accompany him. 

This creates a situation of saas-bahu serial in reverse. During a series of uncomfortable moments and bittersweet interactions with his wife’s family, Nikhil gets to connect with Anita’s parents.

It the story of Dhruv, a guy who is mediocre at everything but has a crush on the class topper. He is afraid to approach her, so he takes the help of his friends Kabir and Susu. Together the three of them try to get her attention meanwhile juggling through other school life problems as well.

Made in collaboration with TVF, this romantic web series will surely make you reminisce the past. I will recommend everyone to watch this series if you are looking for a small, sweet.

15. 26 January

  • Logline: A story of an ATS officer who finds himself in a dilemma. He has to choose between love or his duty when he finds out that his lover is a suspected terrorist.
  • Year: 2019
  • Platform: Ullu
  • Cast: Madhurima Tuli, Mrunal Jain

26 January is a story that’ll give you everything- action, romance, suspense and patriotism. It is one of those stories that doesn’t lose balance by doing many things at once.

If you liked the movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ of Salman Khan, then this Ullu web series will excite you equally, because both stories resemble quite much. Just like in the movie, Salman and Katrina are enemies but fall in love with each other and have to decide between love and duty.

Similarly, this is the story of Ved and Insiya who are in love with each other. Ved is an ATS Office (Anti Terrorist quad) on a secret mission to stop a big attack on the city by terrorists.

But when he comes to know that Insiya is suspected to be a terrorist, his whole life comes to a stop. Now he has to choose between love or his duty towards the nation.
